David is our residential green building consultant in Houston and surrounding areas in Texas.
After graduating from Trinity University in San Antonio with an engineering degree, David moved to Houston to begin his career and soon moved to the Heights area, where he has lived for over 15 years. As a licensed Professional Real Estate Inspector (#7533), David has learned many characteristics of Houston's homes. This background helps him understand and explain the issues concerning past construction techniques. Current involvement in LEED for Homes projects in the Houston area allows him to help builders and designers incorporate newer, more efficient methods into new construction. David has also completed Level I Infrared Thermography training and he uses a digital infrared camera to help find thermal and moisture issues in buildings. David is a member of the following organizations: International Code Council, Houston Association of Realtors, USGBC-Greater Houston Area Chapter.
